The Rhode Island Association of Public Accountants (RIAPA) was organized for the purpose of maintaining a high standard of proficiency and integrity in the professional practice of public accountancy.
We are an IRS Continuing Education approved provider to promote educational & professional development in tax related topics that accountants and tax preparers need in order to run a successful business.
RIAPA is also a member of the National Society of Accountants which represent more than 30,000 independent practitioners who provide accounting, tax, auditing, financial and estate planning, and management services to 19 million individuals and business across the country.
Cost Effective Solution to meeting your CPE credits
Our members consist of CPA’s, EA’s, Public Accountants, Tax Professionals, Lawyers, and accountants.
Annual membership dues are $100 a year with four (4) CPE credit seminars for as low as $85*. Non-members can attend RIAPA sponsored seminars for $150* which makes membership a cost effective solution maintaining and meeting your CPE credit needs!

CPE Credits
RIAPA can provide you with up to forty-one (41) CPE CREDITS PER YEAR .
We provide continuous seminars throughout the year to ensure that you are up-to-date on all of the latest information, tax laws, and new Federal & State regulations.
